We have been going here for many many years, it is a family favourite and ritual to go for breakfast!!!Every time we go in the Staff makes us feel welcome. I recommend it to everyone I know!! Keep up the amazing food and work!! – Jaylyn
Excellent service and great all day breakfast been around for years. Two thumbs up – April
I’ve eaten here many times since moving to the area and have introduced several friends to it now too. It’s a small little place with a hockey theme. The booths are kind of small and can be a little claustrophobic, but there are tables out in the open area as well. The food is usually really good. I recommend their nachos. These are not your usual nachos, but are made with cross-cut potatoes with your nacho fixings on top (beef, jalapenos, cheese, olives, peppers). If you’re not a big eater, just have this appetizer and you’ll be full. The salads are fresh and there are usually some creative things on the specials board. Soups are good and homemade. And if you’re a hockey fan, you might run into a few of the Owen Sound Attack on occasion too. – Yellow Pages Review
I had the steak sandwich for lunch and I have been here before and it never disappoints- the food is always good and hot and nice portion sizes. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Owen Sound- us locals already know what a great little spot this is.

The boot has good food for the price and with daily specials each day for lunch and dinner the owner is a chef which makes a difference when the owner is in the kitchen making sure the food going out of the kitchen is up to par the wait time is fairly quick lots of parking front and back family…- Bob – Owen Sound – Trip Advisor
“The locals always know where the good food is.” This is a restaurant we frequent often. I think their liver and onions is the best. Family business that takes pride in what they serve. Friendly servers always looking to refill your drink. Their all day breakfast is generous and the menu offers plenty of choices.. This is NOT your greasy spoon. – Bonnie – Trip Advisor
“Tucked away, hidden gem” have gone to the boot and blade several times and was always happy with the food and the service. Did not have a bad experience there at any visit. The servers are friendly. I have had to wait a bit longer, at times for the food, but when the place is busy, that’s expected. The food is always a good…Alice – Trip Advisor
